Very nice! Mr. Kutty is a wonderful person.
Thank you ONE AND ALL, for your kind comments and good wishes. 🙂 I miss you all every day!!
Let me take this opportunity to say how deeply humbled I am for this prestigious honor that was bestowed upon me on Tuesday, July 9th.
It took me completely by surprise (intentional on my bosses and colleagues part :)). I was too overwhelmed and totally emotional by all that was happening and hence was unable to convey all that I felt and went through at that time.
I came to work at Detyens at Wando in 1999 after a few months at Shiptech, as a stranger with a different look and a heavy accent, and left Detyens my FAMILY, in 2016, as a person "with a different look and a heavy accent"!! The focus here, guys, is "came as a stranger and left as family"!!! LOL
Once again, a huge THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to Mr. Stewart, Loy Jr and his family, Larry, and to all my colleagues and the rest of my Detyens family for this magnanimous gesture and the greatest honor given to me.
You will forever be my family and I love each and every one of you. ❤️
Well named !!! Mr Kottayil Kutty, you are more than a regular Dude !!!
Excellent discussion about the Maritime Association of South Carolina and the jobs in our industry. The extra Detyens Shipyards footage is a bonus too. #ANCHOREDinSC #DetyensShipyards
